AA 5083 a high magnesium alloy with traces of manganese and chromium is known for exceptional performance in extreme environments. AA 5083 is highly resistant to attack by both seawater and Industrial chemical environments. AA 5083 also retains exceptional strength after welding. It has the highest strength of the non heat treatable alloys but is not recommended for use in temperature in the excess of 65° Celsius.  Aluminium alloy 6082 is a medium strength alloy with excellent corrosion resistance. It has the highest strength of the 6000 series alloys. Alloy 6082 is known as a structural alloy. In plate form, 6082 is the alloy most commonly used for machining. As a relatively new alloy, the higher strength of 6082 has seen it replace AA6061 in many applications. The addition of a large amount of manganese controls the grain structure which in turn results in a stronger alloy. UAE https://www.dinco.ae/plain-aluminium-sheet-metal/aluminium-alloy-6082/
